When I was about 12, my foster dad took me to my first Iowa game. Although they were getting trampled by Mich St. who had Bubba Smith and won the national title, the Hawkeyes never gave up and the fans never stopped cheering...I was so hooked...and going through the lean years makes me appreciate Hayden Fry and Kirk Ferentz. :)
