Like I have said before my mother was organized and was a wonderful cook. We never had a disaster, other then who was taking home the leftovers. The only disaster came when it was time to clean up and do the dishes, we still fought like kids when it came to cleaning up the kitchen. We were blessed when it came to meals, we all sat down and gave thanks for the meals we were about to received. I will not have my little sister to fuss with this year or will I be spending it with my daughter so I have one wish for everyone. My wish for everyone on the Q is that everyone has a blessed holiday, that everyone has what they need to have a good day and for those w/o someone to share it with remembers even though that special person is not with us that they live in our hearts forever! My personality and physical appearance came from my father. My dad never knew a stranger, we could be clear across the map and their would be people saying hi to dad! He bowled, golfed, played softball and was always mischievous. He was and still is very emotional and never hides his feelings, which is a great feature in a man. Proud to be like my father, because his friendliness was and is a blessing. Thanks dad for blessing me with a sense of humor and giving me the features of being a friend. My mother was always the organized one, the planner. So growing up she just made sure we had all we needed because dad was always busy making sure he had everything he needed. Mom is a fantastic cook, a wonderful mother, and always was there when you needed help with homework. We always had a pie, cookies or something new and exciting for meals. She always made sure we were to our activities on time, and made sure we had what we needed for them. I really can not say when I was young or growing up that I had any of her qualities. But now that I am married I can say that I got a compliment after my sister passed away. Someone introduced me to others as, meet Lisa she is the glue that holds that family together. I do not think that it should be a banned right, written in the law books. However, I think there should be more of a background check into the persons capabilities of providing a stable environment. I am not judging her either for being a single mother, there are plenty of wonderful single mother and fathers. There are single mothers and fathers working their asses off trying to support they children. They do not get health cards, support or anything else because they try to support their families. So NO I do not think hard working Americans should support children brought into this world to earn the parent money. Help those trying to help themselves before those abusing the system.
