Thabeet reminds me of Emeka Okafor. He can't really score. He can block and rebound. Dejuan Blair owned him at Pitt and he was just a 6-8 PF, with a 7' wing span. I like Jeff Fisher, and I like what he did. I told my bearded die hard Titan room mate about Fisher saying "I just wanted to feel like a winner" he busted out laughing. That's what this season is. It's a chuckle. In the second quarter one of my buddies texted me 'This is getting comical now" after Brady's third td in the 2nd. At this point no one should care. I live in Tennessee and I know how everyone felt during the offseason. They felt it sucked that Haynesworth left but the way Schwartz coaches is what is missing. Haynesworth is good don't misunderstand. But the fact that Schwartz can bring pressure and that is what is missing is the reason the Titans are struggling. You expect me to believe Tennessee loses 1probowler and then KVB, Kearse and the whole secondary is going to crap b/c of that. Give me a break. And if your best guy isn't one who can rush for 197 yds on 16 carries and 8 catches 87 yards with 3 tds. In his second year no less. The only way that would make sense is if Woodley would slide into the DE void left by Aaron Smith. Not to mention Johnson is injured. Tomlin isn't a knee jerk reaction kind of guy and won't quit on a high draft pick this early. no, their best guy is Chris Johnson. And they improved with Nate Washington. Schwartz is the bigger loss and Haynesworth isn't. He never plays a full season and to pay him that much money would have irresponsible. You can't be the same defense without Troy Polamalu. Offenses don't have to worry about him and you can go all the way back to the Titan game to see what Kerry Collins was able to do with TP out of the game. Without him, you don't have that dynamic and people can key on blocking Woodley and Harrison. I think it comes down to them closing games out and Tyrone Carter and Ryan Mundy are easier targets.You can't be the same defense without Troy Polamalu. Surprises are always bigger when they are negative. No one would predict the Titans win less through 5 weeks. Although no one called a 4-1 season start for Cincy but they were plenty of peoples sleeper pick.
