Why I am a fan:

Saw my frist race in 1963 and fell in love with the sport. went to quite a few races. That was before racing became big time and it was really fun back then.

Eating those hotdogs and fried chicken at the races. Bill E becoming the million dollar man. Fred Lorenzen beating Jr. Johnson on the last lap at Charlotte when Jr had a flat. Back in the 60s. wink
