I was listening on radio and the announcers didn't even care they said he struck the pose and that's it. It's just pop culture on the field I don't think everything has a hidden motive. The captain pose is probably less advertising than the logo on the side of Merriman's dome. Michael Redd is going to lose his star there but that being said it'll be soooo much easier on him having an uber-baller like him when he gets back. I'm glad to see a franchise once proud like the Bucks with a superstar. As for Italy here's a take, the world's talent specially in Europe is better nowadays. I'd be even out there to say overall the world's fundamentals are better than the college players we have in the US considering that they aren't as always athletically gifted as some of our kids. Going over there in Europe to play professional is going to be a real eye opener. Not only do they get the pay but they get the business aspect on a simpler smaller basis and come into the league with experience in that area. Now the college experience is lost but if a person is serious about their career then I say do it. I gotta say I didn't "see" the play but I heard them talking about it while I was on my laptop in bed. Announcer said it was clear to him, so who knows but I am a SEC dude BIG TIME and this is giving me a black eye as a supporter cause it's making this look like a joke, watering down the games, and shameful that the SEC officials on and off the field are looking like clowns. 30k on Urban fine, blowing a call once okay but 3 or 4 big calls not fine, and a guy eye gouging someone and his punishment half a game and only when HE upped it to the whole game against a not good Vandy...pfft horrible. SEC pull ya dome out, get this ish fixed by bowl time cause if this happens in a bowl game we gonna have a major uprising and pitchforks and torches are coming.
