Favorite Players:
(current and past)
Mike Bibby, Bobby Jackson, Jimmer Fredette, Vlade Divac, Peja Stojakovic, Corliss Williamson, Mitch Richmond, Chris Webber, Doug Christie, Scott Pollard, Lawrence Funderburke.
Why I am a fan:
I was not given a choice about what city to be born and raised in and I'm still bitter about it. That being said, there was a stretch there when it was fun being a Kings fan.
Favorite Moments:
Game 5 of the Western Conference finals, watching Mike Bibby hit a game winning jumper against the Lakers(that's how the series ended, right?).

Favorite Players:
(current and past)
Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Buster Posey, Gregor Blanco (pretty much just for that catch he made in Cain's perfect game), Kirk Rueter, Robb Nen, JT Snow.
Why I am a fan:
What's not to about the Giants? And my fifth grade teacher was Dave Righetti's cousin.
Favorite Moments:
Sergio Romo and the ballsiest, most incredibly hittable fastball he's ever thrown to end the 2012 World Series. JT Snow saving Dusty Baker's son from a severe injury, Matt Cain's perfect game, everything Buster Posey has ever done, and the World Series parade on Halloween 2012.

Ask what they are thinking.
Favorite Players:
(current and past)
Steve Young, Jerry Rice, Patrick Willis, Justin Smith, Joe Staley, Mike Iupati, Frank Gore, pretty much everyone on the team now.
Why I am a fan:
Growing up as a little kid in Sacramento, my options were the 49ers and Raiders. I think I make the obvious choice.
Favorite Moments:
The Catch Part II (Steve Young to T.O against the Packers) and Vernon Davis crying after the game-winning touchdown against New Orleans.

Why I am a fan:
Got to represent my alma mater
Favorite Moments:
Mason Foster's interception return for a TD to win the game against Arizona in 2009. It was the most electrifying and scream-inducing moment of my time in college. And getting to interview some of the great Husky players for the Husky Legends series.

About Me

84% Complete Bio
I'm a Sacramento native who grew up on a steady diet of Matzo Ball Soup, Kings Basketball and trips to Candlestick park to watch Barry Bonds' head gradually expand. I went to the University of Washington and worked for the Athletic Department, getting a behind-the-scenes view of Husky football, basketball, crew, baseball, gymnastics and much more. Go Dawgs!
Height: 5' 10"

Throws: R
Schools: Rio American High School (GO RAIDERS!), University of Washington

Kids: None that I know of.
Occupation: Mutli-sport athlete currently rocking two internsips: a political non-profit and FanIQ!
Places I lived: Sacramento, Seattle, Jerusalem
Greatest Moment in Sports:I love when politics and sports cross paths, so I'll go with Jesse Owens competing at the 1936 Berlin Olympics in front of Adolf Hitler. That must have been incredibly powerful to see.
Greatest Event in Sports:March Madness.
Greatest Athlete of All Time:Wow that's tough. MJ? Babe Ruth? Maybe LeBron or Bo Jackson if we're talking about the greatest pure "athlete". I'll go with Willie Mays because I'm a homer.

Most Fanatical Moment:I used to paint my face a lot...like, a LOT.
My Sports Superstitions:Don't root for the Sacramento Kings and you should be fine.
Most Disappointing Sports Moments:Robbert Horry. Enough said.
Fantasy Sports I Play:NFL

Nickname:D-Roth

Career Highlights:Getting told by Vlade Divac that I was a good catcher, even though he probably didn't know anything about baseball. I also won my league foul shooting competition in 4th grade. I peaked early.
Career Lowlights:I don't have the stats in front of me, but I'm assuming I hit about .133 my final year of organized baseball.
