As far as the Celtics go, I am guessing that of their top 5 players, 3-4 will actually be playing in the playoffs and probably only Rondo is still going to be 100% because of injuries/age. Even without injury look at how inconsistent Ray Allen has been in the playoffs over the last two years As for the Magic, a significant aspect of Rashard Lewis success against the Cavs was because of Turkoglu being so effective as another 6'9 anomaly shooter against that Cavs team. Vince Carter is a huge question mark filling that role but he is nothing if not a conventional 2 or 3 compared to Turkoglu, especially at this point in his career. Regardless, it should be fun to see play out... Let's not forget the Cavs lost a close one to a Celtics team that is very strong and will not get better as the year goes along given their age. Then they had a typical let-down game versus an underrated Raptors team on the road the very next night after traveling. And Delonte West, probably the team's second best player during the playoffs, is still out with his personal problems. Give them a chance to gel with the new pieces and they are definitely still an elite team although I would be very surprised if they won it all given the strength of the Lakers and Spurs...Let's not forget the Cavs lost a close one to a Celtics team that is very strong and will not get better as the year goes along given their age. I just love that the Lakers players and management took it upon themselves to make 2010-11 an interesting season. All they needed to do was lay low this off-season, sign Ariza and Odom, not have any key players marry a Kardashian (that had most recently been dating Rashad McCants) or get injured, and I don't think any team could beat them in a 7 game series. Hmm... I just don't understand the legal argument behind Scott trying to sue Penn State. Perhaps discrimination? Violation of a scholarship contract? His spot on the team would have to be considered at-will otherwise. It's not like Penn St could sue him for damages for leaving the team without a good reason... And good luck suing a D.A. unless he can show the D.A. was dating the accuser or something to that effect. Let's just say it's not a shock to me that Scott's attorney has a questionable reputation... dwyermaker commented on Bob Arum: 'Mayweather will not fight a fight where he believes there's any possibility he will lose.'

I'm guessing that Arum is referring to Mayweather balking at fighting Shane Mosley until he sees if Pacquiao beats Cotto because that's the biggest $ fight out there. If Cotto wins, fighting Mosley may bring in more $ for Mayweather so he could go that direction. Then again, Arum may have a point. Mosley has looked like an absolute assassin in his last couple fights. I wouldn't want to get in the ring with him either... Mayweather could put him off a year or two until Mosley's pushing 40 and lost the edge he seems to have gotten back, meanwhile get through Cotto and Pacquiao to cement his legacy.
