This accomplishment by Jimmie is defenitly great. Not even the great Dale Earnhardt SR. or Richard Petty was able to win 4 in a row. Now the debate begins about whether or not Jimmie is one of the greatest drivers of all time and I think the answer is YES! Next years slogan for the 48 team should be just like Jeff Gordon's was a couple years ago, "The drive for 5!" If Jimmie is able to win a fifth in a row then there will be no doubt that he is the best driver of all time.This accomplishment by Jimmie is defenitly great. Everybody is talking about Dec 5 when both teams still have tough games to play yet. Alabama has got to play Auburn and the Gators have to take on FSU. The comparison between Tebow and McElroy is very good and yes it will be a very close game with the team that plays better defense winning. Right now I can almost gaurantee that both coaches are telling their players not to look past the opponent this week or the standings will change and not for the good of the team. It is very possible that both teams lose this weekend and then those other undefeated teams will have something to gripe about. Notice I said possible not very likely though. This is not a done deal yet but it is pretty close. Not even the great Dake Earnhardt Sr. was able to win four in a row. While I respect the program at Alabama I dont think that they can beat Florida on Dec 5 in Atlanta. Mark Ingram is a great running back but has not played against a defense like what the Gators will throw at him. Tebow has already broken most of the records in the SEC but I dont think he can do anymore than that. Rest assured that some day there will be another player in the SEC that will make Tim Tebow look like he is human and destroy his records. The Gators didnt win pretty last week but should take care of buisness this week. The defense has played great now its time for Tim and the offense to get their heads into the game. Tim missed Riley Cooper for a wide open touchdown in the game last week and that cant happen against Alabama. That would be greeat except the schedules are done for the next two years at least. That would solve alot of problems. I dont think that Urban Meyer or any other top team is afraid to play tthe non BCS schools. Yes I agree. We do need a playoff system but until that happens the only ones that can control this crap is the media and coaches. Oh and some computer geek that puts in some numbers. The strength of schedule is a joke because I am a Gator fan and know all about weak non-conference games. I wish the top teams would play a stronger non-conference schedule but we dont get the opportunity to make the schedules. That is left up to the AD's and the coaches. I dont know of any coach that wants to take the chance of losing a star player before the conference games begin. If the playoff system in Div 2 & 3 works why cant it work in Div 1.Yes I agree. The Commodores played great defense once again. The Gator offense was lackluster at best and had better play better next week or they will lose. The old ball coach is just waiting to say I told you so when it comes to the Gators. The game last night was no ass whippin but it did show some weaknesses in the Florida offensive line that everyone in the country saw. Tebow was on his back way too many times in the game and they had better correct that or there will be no trip to Pasadena in January.The Commodores played great defense once again.
