Why I am a fan:
|
Lost interest in baseball as a youngster due to my heroes' serious moral flaws (I was a Mets fan in the 80's). Once I moved to FL, I began attending Spring Training games and my passion returned. The Rays were the local team and they were also in their infancy.

Gomes mauling Duncan. Longo's back to back homers in the playoffs. Perez scoring in extra innings. Kaz winning the crowd free pizzas. Tailgaiting at Ferg's. Price shutting down the Sox.
