I would take a risk on either Sheets or Bedard. Both have tremendous upsides that can probably be honed in a little more if Duncan gets a hold of them. I would only be worried of Sheets' ongoing injuries throughout the past several seasons. All credit needs to go to Syracuse in this one. They have came out to play in the second half and the Heels are still waiting for someone to start playing with some heart. We are playing some extremely pathetic basketball right now. We aren't handling any of the pressure, we aren't taking any good shots, we aren't passing the ball wisely, we aren't catching the ball, we aren't playing defense, we aren't playing with poise and Syracuse is doing all of that.All credit needs to go to Syracuse in this one. Ahhhhhhhhhhh....this is such a joke. I will start losing respect for teams if they start retiring number 23 for Jordan. It's a luxury to have Brown and Williams on the same team. The good thing is that they can continue to share the load to allow Brown not to get as old as quick (even though I'm somewhat concerned about the injuries recently). Ricky was amazing in college and he was amazing his first run at it in the NFL....people shouldn't be so surprised to see him do so well this season when given the opportunity.It's a luxury to have Brown and Williams on the same team. I'm kinda somewhat conflicted about Ricky's success. The better he does, the better the 'Phins do. But, the better he does will cause more teams to come after him later on. I think Drew has a lot of potential and I'm hoping he can prove to be a solid leader this season, so he doesn't lose so much playing time next season. As I've said in the past....I'm not going to go crazy if we can't sign Holliday. But, hopefully Pujols has talked to him about what it means to play in St. Louis and be part of the organization. I keep going back to what Larry Walker said after he retired with just playing a half a season with the Cards: he said he wished he had played there his whole career after seeing what the fans were like and what it was like to be a Cardinal. I can have hope, but I'm not holding out all hope.As I've said in the past....I'm not going to go crazy if we can't sign Holliday. The CY Young award voting in both leagues was a joke this year...I guess being a good pitcher on an OK team and having a horrible sub-par second half of the season is good enough to get you the Cy Young nowadays. It seems the criteria changes every year for these things.
