What Pat said. Dion Lewis is legit, but the media has their ways of ignoring that. I think that everyone who's seen Lewis play even a series of football this year has become a fan of his. Pretty amazing that he was completely overlooked in recruiting.

That'd be fun (or Boise State). That'd be the ultimate bucking of tradition. Now I found myself rooting for Notre Dame to win out for that scenario.

1) He's a freshmen 2) He's a running back 3) He plays in the Big East Personally, I think the race is wide open and my leaders would be Jonathon Dwyer and CJ Spiller, but Dion Lewis has had a wonderful year as well. Unfortunately, it looks like the media is trying to slowly spin it towards Tebow. After last week I saw a few articles supporting him for Heisman. Yeah, can't quite figure out how we haven't put this game away yet. We've clearly been the better team, but Indiana makes just enough plays to stay in. Hopefully we limit them to a FG and go down and score a TD and end this game.

Northwestern needs to finish off Iowa so Ohio State can KO the Hawkeyes next week. Then again, I'd love to see Iowa finish undefeated to show how ridiculous it is that we don't have a playoff. Clearly, I'm a bit conflicted.

Michigan was heading in the wrong direction before Rich Rod ever got there. When he got there, he essentially decided to blow things up and start over. I'd have to assume that the administration was on board with that idea. The team showed some potential early and then fell apart in conference play which will happen with young teams. Tate Forcier will be a stud in this system. If the Badgers had a decent QB that didn't throw ducks 75% of the time, I firmly believe we would've taken the Big Ten this year. #1 in rushing offense and rushing defense should always equal contending for a conference title.

We could pick and choose people from all religions and pretend that they are the mainstream for that religion, but that's just unfair. We don't even know if his being a Muslim had anything to do with what happened. I know someone will respond by saying look at the Middle East. Its a different ball game over there. The overwhelming majorities over there are both uneducated and poor. Its an easy breeding ground for extremism because of that. Religion (as well as nationalism) is one of the easiest calling cards for extremism. If that area of the world was predominantly Hindu, Scientology, or even Christian it would be just as extreme of an area as it is now. If Gomez lives up to his potential this could be a steal. Unfortunately, that seems a bit unlikely. However, it does open the door for Alcides Escobar at SS so I'm pumped about that.

Our running game sucks, but those running plays are the only ones I don't cringe while watching because I know Rodgers is safe of those plays. Before he became our starter, he actually got injured twice in the limited time he saw. Once against New England and then again in Favre's last year against Dallas. He ended up finishing both games and found out after them that he had season ending injuries.
