Favorite Players:
(current and past)
Dale Earnhardt Jr., Alan Kulwicki, Dale Earnhardt
Why I am a fan:
He caught my eye with his abilities after his father passed away. I didn't jump right on the bandwagon, and I'm happy to say I can tell it like it is even if Junior is at fault, which many fans aren't capable of doing.

Why I am a fan:
I cheer for Pitt hoops because I hold out hope that one day the team can learn how to shoot foul shots consistently. If they could do that just one year, they'd be a threat to win the national championship.

He's a driver, he doesn't have other "players."
Why I am a fan:
I've watched him progress since he got his chance from Dale Jr. in the #88 car in the Nationwide Series, kid has a ton of talent and I'm glad he finally has a full-time Cup Series ride.
Favorite Moments:
Winning at Talladega as a part-time driver is a great thing, and he didn't "wreck" Carl Edwards to do it, he held his line.

About Me

100% Complete Bio
I'm 24, a college student, and seem to be FanIQ's token Pittsburgh sports fan. You can take the man out of the Burgh, but you can't take the Burgh out of the man. I am back on the Q, and while I may not be on as much for the time being, I'll be happy to talk about why I left. It seems some people on here like to push the envelope, and can't handle it when you push them back. Folks, if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen. I am currently working on a paper this semester which I need to pass in order to graduate. That is creating a great deal of stress, and perhaps making me a little more edgy than usual. However, I have been on this site a long time and all of you know that is not the real me, even the people who I feel are responsible for what occurred, and they know who they are. It takes a lot to tick me off, but when people keep going and going like the Energizer bunny, eventually you're going to have to expect me to say something back.

Companies: Build-a-Bear Workshop & UPMC
Places I lived: Pittsburgh, Meadville for school, and Angers, France
Greatest Moment in Sports:Call me crazy, but Super Bowl XXX had the greatest story in sports if you ask me. The Steelers & Cowboys playing each other for the 3rd time in the big game, with a 5th Lombardi trophy on the line for the winner.
Greatest Event in Sports:March Madness
Greatest Athlete of All Time:Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana...damn I can go on all day!
Greatest Coach of All Time:Bob Knight, love him or hate him, the man is the greatest head coach who ever lived.
Most Fanatical Moment:World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto, my 17th birthday was the day Pope John Paul II was to arrive in town for the festivities.
My Sports Superstitions:The Terrible Towel is about the only superstition I know of, but it's NOT a cure all that will suddenly cause the Steelers to turn a game around in 10 seconds!
Most Disappointing Sports Moments:1992 NLCS game 7: Everybody blames Barry Bonds for screwing up the game, but they forget Jose Lind's error that allowed the Braves to pull ahead for good late in the game. The Buccos haven't had a winning season since.
Fantasy Sports I Play:NFL, NASCAR
Fantasy Skill Level:beginner lol
Sports I Play:Basketball, Soccer
Nickname:don't have one
Current Skill Level:kind of rusty lol, by the way the sports I checked are what I used to play, not on a team anymore
Highest Organized Level:soccer in 8th grade for middle school, yeah it's been quite a while
Athletes I've Played With/Against:I don't know of any famous people I've played against, but that would've been amazing.
Sports Trophies/Awards:just some recognitions for being on the team every year, I never had a big to-do about sports
Career Highlights:I was complete crap at basketball. I really miss soccer though. While I never scored a goal, I had quite a few assists in my day and played midfielder for a reason.
Career Lowlights:One hot afternoon when I played soccer for a local organization, there were no subs on our team, only 11 players showed up to the game that day. I got smacked in the balls with a ball, smacked in the stomach, and smacked in the face. I knew the kid who kept doing it, and knew he was doing it intentionally because he could see I was struggling. At the end of the 3rd quarter I was so exhausted from the heat that I almost passed out on the sidelines. My team played the 4th quarter with only 10 players since I couldn't do anything.
Sports Injuries:Never had anything major, just a few bruises from all those times I got smacked with the soccer ball.
Games I Usually Attend:baseball, my school's home football games
Greatest Sporting Event I've Attended:1998 MBNA Gold 400 (my first NASCAR race), 7/12/97 Pirates no-hitter over Houston in 10 innings

Sports Figures from my Hometown:There are so many from the Pittsburgh area, just to give you an idea of a few, there's Joe Montana, Mike Ditka, Stan Musial, the Griffeys, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Honus Wagner, Sean Casey, etc.
Most Prized Sports Possessions:my Alan Kulwicki clock, picture of 1991 Pittsburgh Penguins on the ice after winning the Stanley Cup
Sports Trading Cards:a few NASCAR cards, a couple football & hockey cards, and way too many baseball cards to even think about, most of them from when I was little.

Teams Bryan Hates
New York Yankees
Why I Hate Them: They are revered as some godsend that they're not. Ask some new fan and all they know is they've won 26 WS titles...and that's all they can say to you when your team is beating them by 9 runs.
Players I Hate: Barry Bonds
Cleveland Browns
Why I Hate Them: I'm a Steelers fan, it's in my blood to hate these punks!
Players I Hate: Tom Brady, T.O., Chad Johnson
Jeff Gordon
Why I Hate Them: Don't get me wrong, I respect what the guy has done, but I have never liked his attitude and I couldn't be happier seeing him go an entire year without winning a race! >:)
Players I Hate: Jeff Gordon and The Busch Brothers...there are others I don't like, but none as much as I hate these 3.
Philadelphia Flyers
Why I Hate Them: They're the cross-state rival of the Pens and a perennial thorn in Pittsburgh's side...need I say more?
Players I Hate: Chris Simon, Todd Bertuzzi
Baltimore Ravens
Why I Hate Them: They're the original Browns, and the rivalry is still there no matter what people say.
Players I Hate: Ray Lewis when it comes to playing Baltimore
New Jersey Devils
Why I Hate Them: Just like the Flyers, they're tough divisional rivals and I can't stand them...although I think Marc-Andre Fleury will have as good as or a better career than Martin Brodeur. ;)
Players I Hate: Martin Brodeur specifically for the Devils
USC Trojans
Why I Hate Them: I'm sick of hearing about them, and I love seeing that team lose.
Players I Hate: I actually hated Tyler Palko even though he played for Pitt, thanks to what he did against my high school.
