Basically, the goal is to run various plays that take you into what I know as the key or the paint. They call it the rack zone.

Bengals first in the AFC East. Woohoo! Rather concerned about Wildcat football right now. Should have won South Carolina.

About Me

98% Complete Bio
I am a retired children's librarian. Yes, I got my BS from the University of Kentucky and my MLIS from UK which has an ALA accredited program. I also have a Master of Arts in English from Morehead State University. I tell everyone there shouldn't be a U of L or a Morehead or an Eastern that they should be the University of Kentucky at Morehead, the University of Kentucky at Louisville, etc. I am trying to get a rise out of them, but they have me figured out. I have one son and he has 3 beautiful children. The youngest two are 11 months apart. They are the joy of my life. My husband Tony is also retired from manufacturing. We have a small farm and he raises cattle and tobacco. We live in the northern part of the state.

Greatest Moment in Sports:Every time Kentucky wins the NCAA championship.
Greatest Event in Sports:The NCAA Tournament or the Triple Crown
Greatest Athlete of All Time:Oh, good grief! Who would you say, Muhammad Ali? Michael Jordan? Tiger Woods? Pete Rose? except many people think his bad habits would take that away from him. Lou Gehrig? Babe Ruth? Kobe Bryant? It is so subjective. There is no way to say.
Greatest Coach of All Time:Whoever coaches UK to the championship.
Most Fanatical Moment:I jumped down on the floor when in college with Grevey's Gorillas and we lined up with the cheerleaders and welcomed the players in. We got on TV.
My Sports Superstitions:I don't have any.
Most Disappointing Sports Moments:When Christian Laettner made that last second shot against Kentucky in the NCAA and knocked them out of the tournament when Pitino was coaching and the Unforgettables were playing and played way above their heads to get as far as they did.

Sports Injuries:I was a cheerleader and I pulled a muscle in my leg in high school. Some people call that a sport. However, we weren't athletic like they are now.
Games I Usually Attend:I don't attend many games any more.
Greatest Sporting Event I've Attended:UK games. I used to get to attend Reds games, too.
Sports People I've Met:Tony Yates, Rick Pitino, Roger McClendon, Eddie Sutton, Adolph Rupp, Cotton Nash, Joe B. Hall, Several UK players,
Sports Figures from my Hometown:Maysville is 15 minutes from Augusta. Ronnie Lyons, Chris Lofton and Darius Miller are from there. Lyons played for UK, Lofton, UT and Miller is at UK. Chris Harrison who played for UK was from the community where I grew up, Tollesboro. He went to the same high school I did. He graduated many years after I did, though. He is just a little older than my son.
Most Prized Sports Possessions:Some autographs of UK players

Beer of Choice:Not much of a beer drinker. I prefer tea. However, if I have a beer, I prefer Miller Chill or Miller Lite.
Hottest Athletes:Tiger Woods, Andre Agassi, Roger Federer, a few of the NASCAR drivers are hot, but I don't remember names since I don't follow that sport either. Yes, I do consider it a sport. They train and it is difficult. I just think watching a bunch of cars running around in a circle where the excitement depends on a pile up is boring. Some of the NFL quarterbacks are hot, but I don't remember names. If they come to me, I will edit this.
Ugliest Athletes:These big old guys that are covered with those horrible ugly tattoos! Dennis Rodman comes to mind. Of course, he isn't playing now, I don't think. I don't follow pro basketball.
Favorite Sports Announcers:Cawood Ledford was. Al Maguire was also wonderful! Dick Vitale's style gets on my nerves, but I like that he usually seems to like UK.

Favorite Sports "Experts":Micah Pearson with Cal's Cats, Cat's Pause writers
Least Favorite Sports "Experts":the so-called experts at ESPN who have already tried and convicted Calipari!

Teams Debbe Hates
Louisville Cardinals
Why I Hate Them: I always got tired of listening to Denny Crum whine when he was there. Sour grapes all the time. Whine. Whine. Whine. Then when Rick Pitino took them on, I was disgusted because I figured he regretted leaving UK and UofL was available. He bombed on the pro level and he liked it in Kentucky. At that time, Tubby Smith was firmly entrenched at UK. So, UofL was it or nothing. It was also the only other high profile program in the state. At least he was close to a major race track which he likes. Louisville does have a nice city life and cultural advantages, so I guess he and whoever he chose for company were able to take advantage of that. I'll never forget what Rick Pitino did for UK when he was there, but I sure hope he doesn't have the same success for UofL.
Players I Hate: No one playing today. One that shall live in infamy: Christian Laettner
ACC
Why I Hate Them: Duke and North Carolina because I think sports coverage favors ACC teams. I think sportscaster act like the ACC is the Mecca of the NCAA sports world and I am sick of it. I get so sick of Jim Nantz and especially the homer Billy Packer during NCAA tournament time I could throw up!

Pittsburgh Steelers
Why I Hate Them: I have to have a reason? I think they keep hitting on players after they are down. They are dirty players.

Buffalo Bills
Why I Hate Them: I have always been suspicious of them. I dislike them for the same reason I dislike the Steelers. They play dirty.
