Chad Knaus is the most intense Crew Chief in NASCAR, he is meticulous, relentless and maybe obsessive. Knaus has tremendous fire to win. Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus have been in contention every year since they teammed up in 2002. Johnson fell 8 points short in 2004 and blew a tire in the 2005 finale.
