| Greatest Moment in Sports: | Another impossible question...if for nothing else than the global significance and how much more it meant than just a game let's go with the Miracle on Ice |
| Greatest Event in Sports: | March Madness tournament |
| Greatest Athlete of All Time: | Talk about an impossible argument, how can you say someone like Jesse Owens is better than someone like Bo Jackson, just depends on how you define greatness I guess. |
| Greatest Coach of All Time: | For me I want to say Knute Rockne, but I dont think anyone will ever be able to compare to John Wooden |
| Most Fanatical Moment: | Making every road game of ND football my senior year |
| My Sports Superstitions: | During the NBA playoffs if the Spurs won I made sure to wear the same stuff for the next game. NEVER talk about a no-no/perfect game |
| Most Disappointing Sports Moments: | 2005 USC @ ND: After rushing the field when the clock said 0:00 and the Irish up 31-28 after Matt Leinart tried to run to his left and fumbled the ball from the 3. Instead of either getting forward progress (at the 3) and the clock running out or USC getting the spot 3 yards back and the clock stopping the refs gave the forward progress and stopped the clock. This was then followed by the Bush push. Honorable mention to game 5 of the 2004 WCF between the Lakers and Spurs when after Tim Duncan hit a ridiculous bank with 1.5 or so left to take the lead, Derek Fisher somehow having time to catch, turn, and shoot with only .4 left on the clock (was at this one too) |
