Wear it with Pride!! Oh Yeah this series was sweet!! I moved from Jersey to Philly about 6 years ago. Still get abuse when wearing my Yankee shirt, hat, etc.. Philly fans still think they had the better team. But the trophy is home where it belongs!!

The Yankees would not have the global recognization unless they were in New York. That being said the orginization has taken full advantage of this and was far more successful then the New York Giants (baseball now San Francisco), Brooklyn Dodgers (now Los Angeles), and now the New York Mets. Other teams have had the advantage of large market New York but you have to give it to the Yankees for building a globally recognized product.The Yankees would not have the global recognization unless they were in New York. Orton is the smarter of the two. He manages the game does not make crippling mistakes. Cutler is still immature (whines alot) and feels he can force throws into coverage. I do like tradition but I would love to see some better games on Thanksgiving Day. It does however make me spend more time with the family since at least the Lions game is generally not a great match up. I do get sick of the whining. Last I checked the Phillies, Red Sox and all the rest of the teams paid their players as well. Because the Yankees run a successfull business it is a Crime? Lets turn MLB into a socialistic commune and sing Kumbaya.. Share the money and no one should win more than one year in a row why keep score? It makes the smaller market teams (that put the luxury tax and shared money in thier pocket instead of putting it back in thier product) feel bad. PLEASE stop whining. I think the Pirates and the Royals are more to blame than the Yankees for Baseball's unbalance. They dont spend the money they get from Luxry Tax and TV money back into the product. They sell thier prospects for $$. There needs to be a floor more then a cieling. These teams need to spend more on thier payroll.I do get sick of the whining. I am personally very happy with having Phillip over Eli. There is also a quality that can't be measured in stats and that is leadership. Give me Phillip jawing with opponents and yelling at recievers running wrong routes over that deer in the headlights look that Eli has all the time. Phillip always is fired up and shows heart weather they down big or up big he never quits. Playing on a torn ACL in AFC championship game Rivers is a gamer, leader, and heart and soul of this tem right now. I am personally very happy with having Phillip over Eli. Unfortunately Eli will not have to do anything. Chargers have been banged up on the Defensive line and have not stopped the Run all year. pennjersey_jimmy commented on Chris Chambers has been claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs. Another target for Matt Cassel? Or just another disappointment?

Chargers had to cut somebody for the addition of a LB Jame Holt because LB Tim Dobbins went down and is out for a couple of weeks. Chambers has not performed this year and Vince Jackson and Malcom Floyd have been solid.

A big Charger fan here and while I will agree that LT skills have declined, however I do think the biggest thing that really hurt LT was getting rid of Full Back Lerenzo Neil. LT has never been the same since. Hester and Tobert just cant open the holes like Lerenzo Neil could. Plus will agree the play calling is more geared to the pass and Norv abandons the run too quickly. I think if they could get the line healthy and get a true full back to block for LT he would be producing a lot more yards and TD's.
