Why I am a fan:

Ever since I was a kid, I've loved the game of basketball, and I've been to so many Sixers games in my lifetime, that I've just loved every minute of it!

The entire 2001 season (when the Sixers made it to the Finals). Just the whole season and playoffs were some of the most exciting scenes I have ever witnessed as a sports fan. (NOTE: I was born a year too late to see the '83 championship, so I couldn't put that as my moment.)

Why I am a fan:
|
I adopted the Rays as my American League team since 2005. I've probably even been to more Rays games now than I have Phillies games (since tickets are so easily accessible). I love the excitement at the Trop and the way the Rays came together in 2008 was amazing. I'm a Phillies fan all the way, but the Rays still have a big place in my heart (don't worry, I'm not a bandwagoner -- I cheered on the Rays when they stunk too, lol).

Game 5 of the 2004 NHL Eastern Conference Finals: Flyers at Lightning. I was one of the few Flyers fans in the crowd, and sadly we lost that game. I went to a few MLB games where walk-off hits occurred (Evan Longoria's first career walk-off homer against the Angels, Russell Branyan's walk-off shot for the Rays in 2006, Mike Lieberthal's walk-off hit in 2003 for the Phillies (last year of the Vet).
