Oscar was good for boxing and was great for his weight division,just as Sugar Ray Leonard was in his time. Speaking of time,yes Oscar as most fighter's looked for the glory or couldn't let it go (I don't know which) way beyond his time. Oscar was great boxer for his time and seems well on his way to being a great promoter. As far as Paquiao and Floyd Jr...........if it was my long past grandmother fighting Floyd Jr. I would still pull for grandma.......unlike Ali's trash talk in his day,with Floyd Jr. it's a whole another story and I just pray to live long enough to see someone shut his mouth, and I truely believe Pacquiao is the man to do just that.Oscar was good for boxing and was great for his weight division,just as Sugar Ray Leonard was in his time. The old adage stands true with Ali "you never know what you have til it's gone". Ali is and always will be the best boxer ever. Tyson had the brute strength but Ali was the total package. Yes,there was a time when Ali fought way beyond his limit's,but just speaking as a fan of Ali who didn't apperciate him in the moment,I have never seen a fight as great as the Norton/Ali fight. Say what you want about Frazier or Foreman and I respect both fighter's,but that Norton/Ali fight wasn't nothing but two men standing toe to toe and just slugging it out. The way people put Roger and Danny above Troy is a different time a different era. Sorry the question isn't who took the Cowboys to the most Superbowl's........Roger by far had more to overcome in his time just by the fact there were not nearly the rules to protect the QB as there were in Troy's day, just as there were not the rule's to protect Troy as there is to protect Romo in today's game. No doubt Emmitt was or is the best but I remeber the year's Duane Thomas played for the Cowboy's certainly not in the class of running back that Emmitt was but he was a very punishing back and no one could compare to his quirkiness.

It's a shame when a great player and running back like Larry Johnson can cause such disorder on a team. Doesn't say much for the coaching staff to continue to put up with it and to cause the locker room problem's it has. Larry your time has past you by you will never be the great back you were cause you have no heart. Chief's it's time to cut your loses and move on. If you are serious about putting a winning team back on the field for the Chief fan's please I beg of you don't take the route of the Washington Redskins,just get rid of the dead weight look for some nice up and coming talent look forward to draft good team people (if there is such a thing anymore) and let go of what was and move on!!!!! It can't be worse by doing it this way than it is to put a team out there and saying this is a really good team with alot of promise then letting Larry Johnson come along and destroy that promise. I guess Marcus felt the need to wear the shoe's that afforded him the lifestyle he enjoyed. There does come a time when he need's to let the memories of his father go (as we all need to do) and come into his own. When you cost the athletic department funding from one of it's largest sponser's then you should have a plan "B". I'm sure Michael could step in and resolve the problem but the big picture is that he shouldn't have to,you would think by signing to play for UCF someone would be to checking to see if there was going to be any conflict of intrest. If the shoe sponsership was going to be that big of a deal to the Jordan family how hard would it have been to ask whose shoe's you were going to have to wear. After all Marcus is just Marcus he hasn't proven himself to be the next Michael Jordan and he shouldn't carry that kind of clout until he has proven himself,and certainly not carry that kind of clout in college.I guess Marcus felt the need to wear the shoe's that afforded him the lifestyle he enjoyed.
