Here goes...I love Baseball, Apple Pie and Chevrolet, ok, maybe not Chevy so much. I'm a HUGE Yankee fan, that doesn't make me an elitest, I can prove it. I'm a Giant and and Islander fan...Nuf' said?
My favorite speech in a sports movie is Crash Davis' "I Believe" speech, followed by James Earl Jones "Baseball" in Field of Dreams...I guess that makes me a romantic.
I'm a Fireman/EMT, so I guess that makes me a bit of a lunatic...I run into places most people are running away from...
And I guess you really can't judge a book by it's cover, but it sure can make you want to read a little more...
Keep your NFL, NASCARm etc....Baseball fills ball parks for 162 games, over 6 months and come into millions of home on TV...SO....
