Bodacious was damn sure the meanest baddest bucking bull ever. But he was NOT undeafeted. He was rode the full 8 seconds more than once. He also was on the cover of penthouse magazine lol, thats no lie right there he really was and even had his own layout in the same issue.

SURE WAS AND WHO WAS THE FIRST TO DO IT????? TIM SHOULDERS.

Do you mean Jim Shoulders or Jim Sharp? Both were some of the greatest bull riders of all-time. But the Razor (Jim Sharp) was one of the few riders (10 out of 135 attempts) who managed to hang on to Bodacious for the full 8 seconds.

Bodacious was not the 'killer' bull they claim. That was hype. There are many bulls that will pull a rider down and break his face. Bodacious was and is, by far, not the only one. To my knowledge he never went after anyone in the ring. Some bulls go after everyone. I certainly never heard of him stomping or goring anyone to death.  Terry Don West nailed it when he said: "If you are scared, you don't need to be riding bulls." Sadly everyone remembers the horrible accident involving Tuff Hedeman on Bodacious, yet no one remembers when Tuff rode him for over 90 points. The quest of the Stock Contractor is to supply bulls that are a challenge to the riders. The quest of the riders is to ride the bulls. Take Reindeer Dippin...everyone called him psycho. Why? Because the majority could not ride him and yet  L.J. Jenkins rode him twice. What is the 'norm' for bucking bulls? Ones that are good, honest buckers, that go in a circle, buck high, spin fast? That is like trying to put other sports athletes in a mold. Should every baseball player be like Babe Ruth? Should every horse be Secretariat? See the point? Maybe bull riders did refuse to ride him. This goes back to Terry Don West's comment. Look at how famous Bodacious became. He had more exposure and fans that a lot of other bulls.  He made his owners a fortune and he didn't even have to perform anymore. All he had to do was attend events, whatever they were.  If Bodacious was indeed the 'killer' they tried to make him out to be, then surely he would have 'finished off' riders like Tuff and any others that lay helpless and mostly unconscious in the ring. Give me a break. Perhaps it is way past time for the PBR  to re-evaluate the bucking bull and how he performs so they can judge fairly.
