Malkin takes a head shot at Wayne Simmonds in the last seconds of the game---Pens winning 4-1. I am willing to bet that if this was Dennis Gauthier, this hit would receive a couple games suspension, but Malkin ===probably nothing.

That should be four games suspended EASY Here's another Malkin dirty play--- a slew foot in the playoffs last year...no call, no suspension---nothing Also note what a bunch of sore losers Crosby and co. are. I'm so sick of this league and favortism it shows towards certain players and teams and all the hypocracy

I know for a fact that if Gauthier or another Kings player did this to Malkin or Crosby, there would be hell to pay from the league.

And yes, there would undoubtedly be talk about that hit and most likely a suspension handed out for any player not named Crosby or Malkin, and it would just be multiplied for any tough player, like Gauthier as you mentioned. If it were Avery? Forget about, he would probably be kicked out of the league forever

Simmons is willing to selflessly take a hit he knows is coming because he stepped into it to get the puck off the NHL scoring champ. That's hockey fellas. It's either stupid of Simmons or rare sacrifice you only see in the playoffs. Dirty, please. Malkin has done some cheap things but this isn't one of them. If you hate the Caps, then AO's celebrations are excessive. If you hate the Pens then this was a cheap shot.
