I Believe - A 9/11 Tribute

A powerful and moving tribute to the events of September 11th, 2001. For the people who lost mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers and friends. For those left behind to mourn, grieve and somehow find strength to carry on despite losing loved ones for reasons that if we live another thousand years will never make a damn bit of sense. For the rescue workers, the New York Firefighters and the NYPD Officers who sacrificed their lives so that so many more could live. For the passengers on Flight 93 who overpowered the hijackers knowing full well that they would perish and by doing so saved thousands more lives. For the spirit and resolve of America. Let us never forget.

This a great tribute to all the people losing their lives on 9-11. We must now forget our troops over seas who have fought and lost their lives. More troops have been killed in this war than from 9-11. I pray for our troops everyday.  I lost my brother last year, and am deeply saddened by the war. My heart and prayers goes out to anyone who is fighting or have lost a loved one. God bless America.....

I believe they are all still with thier loved ones telling them to have strength, move forward, to go on. Without hate in thier hearts, at least I believe I would. Thank you Jim, that was beautiful.

...this makes a grown man cry!  What is more depressing - the murders haven't been prosecuted!

Thank you Jim for another good cry today This is the second 911 tribute I have got today that has made me cry But both Tributes are so beautiful. I pray for the families who lost loved oneson 911 and I pray for all our Military men and women and their families for their sacrifices they are giving since 911 to keep us all safe and free.I think 911 should be a National Holiday to remember all those who lost their lives on that horrible day.Thank you again for sharing this.

We all pray for the victims and their families. We should all remember this dastardly attack on our society and our values. Innocent Americans have suffered immeasurable loss, and new victims arise from the ranks of those that volunteered to aid their fallen brethren. Scores of illnesses now infect the Good Samaritans that flocked to Manhattan to search for survivors and reclaim the dead. What should enrage ALL Americans is that the perpetrators of this horror have not been brought to justice. We have waged war, with high casualties; but those that take credit for the Attacks on America continue to plot additional acts of cowardice cloaked in righteousness; they taunt us and continue to find safe harbor from sympathizers of their “cause.” I for one will never feel closure until we root out those behind The Attacks on America, and bring them to justice.

“Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.”
Winston Churchill

Wars and bloodshed were never good nor will they ever be !
Taking God's law in one's own hands is not our decree !
Innocent loose their lives because of the whims of a few !
We all can only pray for their souls, there's nothing ever anew !

Will this destruction never end?
Will humanity never bend ?
Will there never be peace ?
Will the naive forever weep ?

God save your creation !
Bring in some limitation !
Give us some solution !
To end this desolation !

God bless the humanity, with good human values, let no faith claim to be better and prove it with violent actions, be it a Rumsfeld, Bush , Saddam or a bin Laden, they make humanity pay the price for their being "devout" as no faith has violence preached in their holy script.

The beautiful thing about this country is that we are all, whether we know it or not, our neighbor's helpers.   I live in Texas, and all my life we've poked fun at NEw Yorkers for the way they talk, and them us for the same reasons.   When something like the World Trade Center, or the Pentagon, or flight 93 in remote Pennsylvania happens, we band together.  The world gets smaller.  When something terrible happens to my neighbor, it happens to me.   I cried on September 11, 2001, and I'm a little teary eyed right now as I type this.

We should never, ever forget Patriot Day.  That's what it's actually called, you know, and it says so on my calendar.   Because all the munitae of life, the everyday routine that we all experience every day, gets taken for granted.   When something like the WTC tragedy happens, everyone immediately hopes for the mundane normalcy of everyday life.   We may have different favorite sports teams that we say we hate, but we don't really hate them, do we?   If we do, then we are in serious need of priority realignment.

Great job, ChargerJim.
