She was very young and things like this just do not make sense to us. Only God knows why.... Yes, this is one of the songs that is used in many, many memorial services and it can be hard to listen to when you've heard it during one of those times. It's still a beautiful song....

Thank you very much for your sentiments. It was just over 5 years ago now and her oldest daughter is going to be a senior in high school. If any comfort can be taken from this tragedy, it is that she was married to a very committed man as a father to her children and they are close to a number of direct family members--so, there's been a great deal of support over the years. The fact that it is used in memorial for so many people is a tribute to the greatness and inspiration of the song.

#18 \| 81 days ago gayskip3girl (+)	This is one of the Best songs I have ever heard My Dad passed 3 years ago sept 28 and my brother sang this at our dads funeral it was truely beautiful hearing him sing this and it also gave comfort in such a hard time Too all who have lost loved ones just know that God is taking care of them now and they are in a better place.I miss my dad so much but this song always brings comfort to me when I am feeling down and out cause I know my Dad is watching over me He is my Guardian Angel God Bless everyone HUGS

#27 \| 17 days ago huskerfan_ia (+)	I bought this CD when it first came out, Mercy Me is one of my favorites. When I heard this song I got very choked up. About a month later my Grandpa died, we had this song played. Before the funeral I played it for the Pastor, he tied his message to the song, it was the most powerful and inspirational messages I've heard. In Sept my Grandma on the other side passed away, my cousin sang this song, not a dry eye in the place. Not necessarily because they were sad, but because of hope.
