Super Bowl Referees Screw Up The Clock After Ben Roethlisberger's Interception - Video

Nothing To See Here, Just The Refs Screwing Up The Super Bowl Again. Shockingly, It Helped The Steelers.

Not sure how that clock managed to magically go from 2:01 to 2:00, but there should have been one more play before the two minute warning. Could this have affected the Cardinals' play calling before the half, which eventually led to the James Harrison INT return? Maybe.

The answer to your question isn't maybe, it's YES.

This is a stupid argument; there were six plays run between the two interceptions so many different acts had to occur during that drive to lead to that touchdown, and they did, and the steelers won.  If you want to blame anyone for the james harrison INT blame kurt warner, he threw it right to him.

Yes, there were 6 plays. But there would have been 7, since the clock would have stopped at the 2 minute warning anyway.

yeah thats true but I still say the clock had small affect on that game.  Whats to say that NBC didnt f**k the clock up and the official time was at 2:00?

I saw this "live" as well too !     I think saying that it could've affected the Harrison interception is a bit of a reach, but it's still very strange how the clock would advance like that "on it's own" !!    (and this wasn't the ref's actually.....)

Nice catch !
